Work

Erin Murphy is a senior designer actively working to create inclusive, digital systems for people.

As a designer with NASA’s JPL Mars 2020 mission, Erin partnered with scientists and roboticist building software for commanding the future rover, orchestrated large scale simulations, and designed dashboards to help monitor telemetry readings from spacecraft. Erin also helped Earth scientists gain access to the latest OCO-2 data.

Erin helped HBO Digital create enhanced information architecture experiences for the HBO catalog, and collaborated several vectors of the HBO product team to ship essential features for viewers on the go.

When not working, Erin focuses on community building. She enjoys workshops, collaborating with other creatives, and illustrating for her quarterly journal.
